Women’s Tennis to Face UTEP, New Mexico State

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.—The No. 53 University of New Mexico women’s tennis team is on the road this weekend to face a pair of matches. They will take on UTEP and New Mexico State.
 
The Lobos are currently undefeated in conference play, beating Colorado State, Wyoming, Boise State and Utah State to advance to 4-0. They are 11-6 in the season. They will resume conference play after these two matches to take on Air Force again on the 23rd.
 
The Miners are 11-9 in the season and 2-1 in conference play. They hace recent wins over New Mexico State and Texas Rio Grande Valley, but have fallen to SMU 6-1. Their match against New Mexico will be their last home event.
 
The Aggies are 10-7 in their season, winning their last eight matches. They are also undefeated in their conference play, going 5-0 over their opponents. They are unranked by ITA.
 
New Mexico is set to face UTEP tomorrow at 12 p.m. before heading to Las Cruces to take on New Mexico State Sunday.
